OUR IMPACT
OUR REACH
"If you educate a man you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman you educate an entire family."
- Mahatma Gandhi
We aim to make women empowered to handle their finances. Women are considered GrihLakshmi (Hindi: goddess of house and wealth). We help our GrihLakshmi transition into SamarthLakshmi (Financially Empowered) by making them capable of handling their financial matters. Every woman we empower becomes a catalyst - strengthening her family, her community, and ultimately, our nation.

REAL STORIES
(Note: Names have been changed to protect identities)

Neena finds a friend in need

When Neena didi's family faced medical emergency, she was able to handle the expenses well because she had ready access to the family’s investment information in the form of Samarth Lakshmi financial organiser that she had filled after attending Samarth Lakshmi's workshop just 2 months back.
This inspired 5 of her friends and neighbours to use our resources to become upto date with their family’s investments and get nominees registered across their investments. Neena didi now mentors other women in her circle on the importance of financial readiness.

Rekha's Journey

Rekha aunty, a homemaker from Uttar Pradesh, always relied on her husband for financial matters. After attending a SamarthLakshmi workshop, she not only started tracking her family's investments but also opened her first SIP.
Using our Financial Organizer, Rekha ensured her family's documents and nominations were updated. Today, she feels confident handling financial discussions together with her family and inspires other women in her community to do the same.

A SamarthSakhi's Impact

Priya tai, a SamarthSakhi from Maharashtra, has helped over 22 women in her village start goal-based savings plans. She has been instrumental in opening recurring deposits and AB-PM-JAY (GOI's health insurance scheme). Her dedication shows how empowered women become torchbearers for change, creating ripple effects across communities.
